Notes on dating, attribution, imagery, or markings

Marshak suggests Sogdian or Ustrashana (Marshak 1986: 431), and Darkevich includes the bucket with vessels from Semirech'e and Fergana (Darkevich 1976: 87).

Marshak dates the vessel to the late 8th or early 9th century (Marshak 1986: 431).
